Brayer (30 durometer)

These brayers are soft 30 durometer polyurethane rubber, great for relief prints and monotypes, and can even be used for lithography. The 3 inch diameter of the brayer gives you over 9 inches of roll out, allowing you to ink your matrix quicker and more consistently. The handle is designed to be to be comfortable and light weight so you can print for a long time without getting tired. 
 
-You can clean these brayers with most petroleum-based solvents and chemicals, or just vegetable oil and a degreaser like soapy water.
-The hard plastic is made from PLA (Polylactic Acid) and can be cleaned with most petrochemicals like mineral spirits. You can also clean it with vegetable oil and soap. PLA is a sustainable bioplastic derived from renewable sources such as cornstarch or sugarcane. 
-WARNING: PLA tends to warp under high heat, ~140°F(60°C) so try your best to keep it out of direct sunlight. If the brayer is left outside in direct sunlight, it will often reach these temperatures. Outdoors in the shade is fine, and indoors but with windowed sunlight is safe as well.
-Since each brayer is made by hand there may be variations between brayers. I will try to have a few brayers in stock, but please allow a few extra days for larger orders, since I can only make a few per day.
